MODELS & SPECIFICATIONS
Q: What models does Falcon offer?
A: Falcon currently offers the following models: 21 Predator, 20 Predator, 21 TE, 20 TE, F215, F205, F195, F185, and 18 Freedom. Models range from 18'9" to 21'6" in length, with max HP ratings from 150 to 250. All models except the 18 FREEDOM are available with a dual console. Full specs for each model are available at https://www.falconbassboats.com/models.
Q: What is the difference between the TE series and the Predator series?
A: Both series feature Falcon's tournament-grade construction and 99" beam (on the 20- and 21-foot models). The Predator series is built for anglers who demand maximum performance, all the bells and whistles, and the signature bird head; while the TE (Tournament Edition) series offers a refined balance of performance and equipment for the tournament angler. We recommend contacting your dealer or scheduling a factory tour to see both side-by-side.
Q: What engine brands do you offer on your boats?
A: We offer most all major brands that are available for bass boats. We predominantly install Mercury, Yamaha, and Suzuki outboards.
Q: What is the maximum horsepower for Falcon boats?
A: The 20 and 21-foot models (Predator, TE, F215, F205) are rated for up to 250 HP. The F195 is rated up to 200 HP, the F185 up to 175 HP, and the 18 Freedom up to 150 HP.
Q: How much does a Falcon Bass Boat weigh?
A: Approximate dry weights range from 1,650 lbs (F185 / 18 Freedom) to 1,975 lbs (21 Predator / F215 / 21 TE). Actual weight may vary depending on engine, jackplate, and installed options.
Q: How accurate are your boat measurements on your website?
A: The measurements for each model have been carefully measured; however, it is impossible to be completely accurate. Each boat can have a different motor, jackplate, options, etc. that can cause the specs to vary. If size really matters, it is recommended that you measure the actual boat you plan to purchase for your space. If you have any questions, you can contact us directly at 803.276.0033.
Q: What brand of electronics do you offer?
A: All of our Falcon boats come standard with Humminbird/Minn Kota electronics. We also offer upgraded Humminbird/Minn Kota products as well as Garmin, Lowrance, and Power-Pole.

PRODUCTION
Q: Does Falcon use any wood in their manufacturing process?
A: No! Our boats are 100% composite construction.
Q: What type of fiberglass and coring materials does Falcon use in their decks and hulls?
A: We use over 10 different varieties of fiberglass in our process. We use both directional fiberglass and non-directional fiberglass. These different types of materials are strategically placed to maximize strength and minimize weight. We also use over 10 different coring materials in our process for various applications.
Q: Why does Falcon not use digital switches?
A: Over our vast experience in boat manufacturing and boat repair, we have learned that rocker switches are the most reliable. In the event of failure, which is very rare, they can be replaced easily and quickly. This keeps you and your boat on the water instead of a repair shop.
Q: What type of latches do you use?
A: We only use the highest quality, stainless steel, compression latches available. It is easy to notice the quality by their looks and feel when using them.
Q: Why do your rod boxes open upward instead of outward?
A: We designed our Exterior Rod Access (ERA) Boxes to open upward to allow you to stand outside of your boat and have easy access to load rods. This prevents you from having to climb in and out of your boat repeatedly with rods.
Q: Will my rods fall off the deck when opening the ERA boxes?
A: No! They actually go along for the ride as you lift the lid to the rod box. In the event, they were to slide off the lid, they rest on the deck rail rather than fall into the lake, like traditional opening rod boxes can do.

OWNER RESOURCES
Q: How do I get my exterior courtesy lights turned off?
A: There is a switch at the console switch panel and one at the bow. Check your bow switch panel to see if the rocker switch is engaged. Often, one of the two will be engaged.
Q: How do I get my livewell to hold water?
A: There is a 1 1/8” clean out plug located on the driver’s side of the livewell. Check to see that the plug is securely placed in position. Please note that the livewell control valve must be on recirc or auto. If the problem persists, please contact your Falcon dealer or Falcon directly at 803.276.0033.
Q: How do I know which wiring harness is installed in my boat?
A: Your boat has either a BH Harness or a New Wire Harness. The easiest way to know is to look at your switch panel in the cockpit. If it has a New Wire harness, then the panel has recessed switches with fuses located under each switch. If not, then it is a BH Harness.
Q: Where are the fuses located on my Falcon Boat?
A: If your boat is equipped with a BH Harness, your fuses are located under the console on the vertical starboard wall. If your boat is equipped with a New Wire Harness, then your boat has circuit breakers under each switch in the cockpit.
Q: Where are the bilge fuses located on my Falcon Boat?
A: The bilge fuses are located in the bilge by the battery on/off switch on the wiring harness.
Q: What do I do if my bilge switch is on but the pumps are not working?
A: If your boat is equipped with a BH Harness, then check the fuses in the bilge. If your boat is equipped with a New Wire Harness, check the circuit breaker and then the fuses in the bilge.
Q: What if my drain plug is hard to open and close?
A: Simply apply some O-ring grease (non-petroleum based) to the O-ring on the drain plug.
Q: What do I do if my stereo is turned on but there is no sound?
A: After adjusting the volume, set the fade and balance to the front speakers.
Q: Where is the stereo fuse located?
A: The stereo fuse is located in the bilge by the battery on/off switch.
Q: What do I do if my trolling motor will not turn on?
A: Check the thermal breaker in the bilge on the port side of the boat.
Q: What do I do if there is no power to the main power switch?
A: If your boat is equipped with a BH Harness, then check the ACT fuse in the bilge at the battery on/off switch. If your boat is equipped with a New Wire Harness, check the thermal breaker in the bilge beside the battery on/off switch.
Q: Where do I fill my hydraulic steering pump?
A: The hydraulic steering pump reservoir is located behind the windshield on the console.
Q: Is it normal for my gas tank to make a hissing sound when I remove the fuel cap?
A: Yes! It is perfectly normal to hear a hissing sound when opening the gas cap. This indicates that the pressurized fuel system is functioning as designed. These systems are engineered to maintain a slight amount of positive pressure. Once the internal pressure exceeds a pre-set limit, a valve in the cap or the vent mechanism relieves that excess pressure to prevent damage to the tank. When it is hotter outside you will notice the pressure seems higher than on cooler days. On these warmer days, make sure you hold pressure against the cap and release the pressure slowly when you remove the cap.
